Tobacco Facts Pakistan is a platform for Fair Trade in Tobacco (FTT), an advocacy group dedicated to protecting the rights of the legal tobacco industry in Pakistan.
With 51% of the total market share (Jan. 2026), the illegal tobacco mafia steals over PKR 400 billion ($1.43 billion) in annual taxes. This mafia operates through multiple layers of intrusion, including local- and foreign-funded so-called health activists and NGOs that target only the legal tobacco industry.
FTT works to combat all forms of illegal tobacco business and urges the government for universal enforcement of all tobacco-related laws. This is essential to create a fair and level playing field for all tobacco companies.
